The story

Twenty years between the numbers and the systems.

I started in finance — not technology. I joined Johnson & Johnson Medical out of university as an accountant, completed my CA there, and became finance lead on their ASPAC SAP programme. That's where I discovered the most interesting problems in any organisation sit at the intersection of data, finance and systems.

From there I joined British American Tobacco during one of the largest SAP implementations in history — 183 countries on a single platform in just over two years. Over six and a half years I held global finance roles — spanning BI, reporting and product costing across 45 factories — then Global PM for Commercial Finance Operations with a centre of excellence in Kuala Lumpur.

Halfway through BAT I founded Liquid Peak, my own consultancy — and every engagement since has run through it: Stockland's S4 go-live, BAT in the US, Shiseido as Global BI Lead across 120+ countries. Today I lead the Data & Intelligence practice at Emphasys, an SAP Gold Partner.

Most of my better ideas happen somewhere between the water and the pavement — daily surf, daily run, training for a sub-4-hour Sydney Marathon.
